Very cool Springfield ! Great collectors piece, hard to find one in excellent condition. Throw up a picture when you are able, we would love to see this piece of history.

Well, not today, but last nite I finished up the batch of 100, 45/70 I was working on, cleaned off the bench. Give it a rest for a while,
or until some more brass shows up.

Love Hornady, I will have to give it a try, I have been loading 405 grain exclusively, but haven't found any buffalo to shoot !

RnG try some of those Nosler 300 grain bullets Jim uses. They shoot really good. Get them at Shooters pro shop when they have them as seconds.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Scrounged up some more brass. Back in the reloading business ( 45/70 ). Something to do when it's so hot outside. Seems like the sun is about 20 ft. above the house.
