What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Now working on 45 colt case sizing. Got too far behind. Turning tedious instead of fun.
[edit 11/08] finished today with the sizing.

I also have some .45 Colt brass to load up; about 50 is all I have empty, but, it'll give me something to fool around with. Lord knows I don't need to load any more .38 spl or .45 acp! Well, maybe.

Yeah, I have several hundred 357 cases ready for powder. But, also several hundred loaded rounds! I have begun putting up and storing rounds for my Grendel. 2-300 ready in boxes, and that many new Starline cases waiting. After a year, I finally was able to buy 500 cases. What a sweet thing.
Awaiting delivery of 250 cases for my 308. That is exciting.
Powder and primers are coming in trickles. Time will tell. Latest powder buy is Hodgdon BL 2C. Still waiting on large rifle primers.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

I always like to de-prime, clean, size and neck expand my brass as soon as it is empty. Then I label the container it's in and put it on the shelf so when it's time to load it half of the work is done.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Been awhile since I've been on here. The wife has been fighting leukemia for 15 years now with 9 years in remission in the middle. Last two years have been hell with her going on hospice and now back off of it thank God. She was bed ridden for awhile which took all my time but she seems to be making a comeback! Anyways spent some time in the reloading room for the first time in almost a year and finally ran up a ladder load for my S&W 460. Got it scoped for my old eyes and will hopefully hit the range soon. Had to do a line up of cartridges just cause it's cool next to the others I shoot alot.

Hatchdog, good to hear you and your wife are getting a break. It keeps getting tougher as we get older. My wife has been a spinal cord patient for 38years and it isn't getting any easier for her. She gives up a few hours a week so me and my older brother can shoot once a week. I stole an hour last night and loaded 50 rounds of 9mm 147 grain Falcon coated flag points. My brother has a S&W 986 revolver and he gave me 3 moonclips ,he's generous with his ammo but I try not to use his.
