You going to make a move on it? I'm good for now.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Fri Jun 24, 2022 10:30 amToo bad shipping powder is such a pain as a local guy yesterday put up a new 4 lb jug of Red Dot for $160. Not great but if you need some you need some.

Paul, $40 a lb. isn't that bad, especially this day and time.

Universal has filled the void for now. I've got several pounds on the shelf and hopefully things will start to improve. My local shop has Power Pistol on the shelf and that's another alternative.

No, I’m not currently loading anything with Red Dot. Kinda wish I was with $40 no tax for powder. (What am I saying ) My how the times have changed.

30-30, 35 Rem., some 357's and a few 38-55's.

Put together 100 rounds of 308 Win. to take to my daughter's house this weekend. Her hubby has a new Springfield SOCOM he wants to test out. Last fall he gave me a bag of 308 brass so I decided to prep some of them to reload. Come to find out 3/4 of the brass were Berdan primers so into the brass recycle bin they went. Out of a bag of 300-400 rounds only 74 were reloadable. Fortunately I had some extra brass.

Finished loading .45 Colt with 6.0gr Red Dot[the forty load] and 250gr coated rnfp from T & B bullets. Gad zooks, I'm down to 100 T & B and 400 naked Missouri bullet! Will be ordering shortly. Good thing is, no empty .45 Colt cases. All stuffed. Now, it's on to .45 acp. Like I need more. Course I do!

I have my 11 year old grandson for three weeks over the summer. First words out of his mouth yesterday "Are we going to do any reloading grandpa?"My little deprimming helper.
The 45 colt brass showed up today, and he's been wanting to play with the presses.

Has anyone seen 6.5 Grendel? I keep kicking myself for going with an obscure size.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
