Yesterday morning , enjoying a really gloomy weather (he drops buckets of water here :-()

prepared fifty bullet 45-70 405 gr and a little more in 330Gr.
Some time ago, I was lucky to find a guy who was selling a used one for a low price. really not bad this tool!
sizer die and top punch can be changed , according to the bullet ...
the guy had lost the lever  , I had to make another, but hey, at this price it was worth it. :)

Ultramount riser is extremely convenient to switch from press to lube-a-matic in seconds, or any other tool with their "quick change top plates" system.
It is quite expensive, but when you do not have a dedicated room and a large reloading bench, it is a rather practical saving of space.
and the whole is very very stable.

I make the lubricant stick from the following mixture:

It seems to work well ... and it's very inexpensive...

Nice find on the Lube A Matic!

Many years ago I was given an old Star lube/sizer tool and it worked but would have needed to be completely taken apart, cleaned and some rust removed before I would have used it.

I kept it for a while debating on maybe starting to cast again and use it but I discovered these were particularly desirable in the 'vintage' loading world and wound up selling it on Ebay for like $230 if I recall.
