Small casting session

Well back in Jan I went to Fla to help a friend with his nephew's house that was hit by Hurricane Michael.
While I was there one of the nephew's friends gave me some lead and another casting pot.
So not a lot going on around here today, got some rain coming later.
Well I pulled this out to see if it works, yep but the ole bottom valve will need some cleaning.
So I'm using the ladle, also trying out this new to me mold that I got from a member of a different forum.
I'm only using the 41-268 side.
These are all dropping around 274, should be a real deer thumper in the BBS.

Those are cool.

If you do this sitting on the sofa does that making it a casting couch?

Well I got just a little over 100 made, before it set in raining.
These will be powder coated in the near future.
See what we can do with 'em, hope the BBS likes 'em. ;)

While I was at it I did cast a few of the 38-55's.
Average weight was 235 grs. Nice looking bullet to.
Here they are side by side.

And I don't even own one.
Could be a little sign.

Seeing that brings back memories for me when I use to cast. Is that one of those moulds from Tom out there in SLC Vaquero?
