This morning after coming back yesterday
from short journey in belgium (good beers !!! :lol: ), 150 bullets more in brinel 18:

No, I don't use a HP boolit in my 45/70 loads, but I do prefer to use the lighter weights...350gr or so in cast. Less heavy recoil, and my hunting critters all have fell to (save one buck) something in the 300-350 range of boolit weight.in

You should be happy with it,and for what it is worth, I don't go hot or heavy loads anymore. I normally stay within trapdoor range, and find this works well for everything I have ended for the past 15+ years.
