Bullet mold I made
Here is a pic of 2 of my bullets and a pic of one of my bullet mold I cut for matches . The bullets band are 4 different diameter .

fascinating ..... I can't imagine the level of skill and various pieces of equipment needed to create those molds

The mold is made totally on a lathe with a 4 jaw chuck and 4 custom made boring bars . Trick is in the centering and squaring up the mold in lathe chuck which take about a hour before drilling or cutting lube grooves or cutting nose . I hope this makes sense

I bet if it was off-center even a thousands of an inch it would not create an accurate bullet. What are the tolerances?

The problem is at your end . Everyone else can see it . Are you trying to view it on a phone or I pad . Here is a paste I hope this helps ... You can still see the chips after cutting it and before I polishing it .Vaquero wrote:Can't see the pics.

I posted the wrong pic for you . If you look real close you can see the 2 half seam near the nose in the 40 cal bullet that is how good a lathe turn mold are . .Vaquero wrote:Can't see the pics.
