Hunters world buffalo powder

Wondering if anyone has loaded this in their 45/70. Adv. to be like one 4198

I would think that the only loading data for that powder will have to be found on the web site of the maker. I have some 4831 , 3031 , Trailboss ,2400 and FFG so I think I will stick with those for now.

4198 is our powder of choice for our 45-70 .... if Buffalo Powder works as well as 4198, it is a good powder ....

Just wondered like h4198 and h 335 myself. Midway had huntersworld power with free hasmat

Also meant to say their online loading data was for cast bullets only

I have and it seems to be a good sub for 4198 , 30 gr Buff rifle with a cast 405 gr RN run out at 1495 fps. I tried 28 gr and got 1350 fps then a 1460fps don't know yet what caused the jump but it was still well within specs for the round and rifle. They claim it to be a lower recoil powder with increased velocity ...To me it seems if you push a 405 GR bullet to 1500 fps your are going to get recoil.
