Well, darn.

I planned on loading up a batch of .38 wadcutters to have ready for our weekly range trip next Tuesday. I loaded up about 40 and ran out of sp primers. No problem, I stocked up a couple weeks ago. Went in the house where I keep my primers in A/C. Looks like like all the sp primers I picked up were actually sp magnum primers. I must have grabbed a box off each stack without checking the box. Guess I'll have plenty to load .357s for the Henry.

I know, many folks interchange sp and spm primers. I tend to stick with published primer types.

With the new SP101 my daughter got earlier this year, we have been going through a lot of .38s. Unfortunately, the Henry has been languishing. Not to worry, it will get plenty of love after the new wears off the SP101.

SP101 is a good revolver, I carry one concealed daily. I reload .38 and .357 for it and follow the published data. Enjoy your Ruger!
