7.62X39 bullet in my .327 big boy

As I reload for both the >327 Fed and 7.62X39 I ran across something interesting. In developing a target load for the 7.62 I ran across a plated flat point bullet of 123 grs that happens to be .313 dia. It works fairly well in the mini-30 ,up to 2100 fps. My BigBoy steel in .327 Federal shoots the Hornady Xtp(100gr) fairly well(2008 fps) , but I would like a heavier bullet for game over 80 lbs. The plated bullets have proven themselves to be cleaner than cast, more economical than jacketed, and capable of higher velocity. I believe I'll try the 7.62 bullet in the .327. The diameter is right at .313 which is the same as the cast 115 gr. 32-20 bullet I use in the Fed, and within .001 of the Hornady 100 grainers .312. Length is my only problem, the plated bullet is .092 longer than the 32-20 bullet. To function in the rifle, I must keep within the max. C.O.A.L. , so I may have to use a 32H&R case. Anyone been here before? Let me know what you think.

Any ideas on charge weight or powder?
The meplat looks wide enough for a mag tube.

I was thinking Long shot or Unique to be safe. I have been using the Lyman cast bullet hand book for plated bullet loads. I have used them with good results in my .357 BBS. I have chronied this bullet in the 7.62X39 at 2200 fps. It held together fine.

I think the bullet in the middle is the prettiest.

The prettiest is the 115 gr cowboy(RNFP) from x-treme. Hard cast and reasonably accurate, but leads the barrel above 1100 fps.

Try hard cast from Penn bullets.

their 95 grainer is rated to 1600 fps
I've had good luck running their .357 hot with no leading.
