as I've noted in some other threads, for pushing 40 years my handgun of choice has been (and still is) a Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag .... form more than a decade prior to purchasing the Redhawk I used a Blackhawk 44 Mag .... throughout the entire time we have handloaded our shells and my hunting bullet of choice has been a Nosler 240 gr JHP .... now that we have a Henry BBS 44 Mag, I've been thinking about giving Nosler's 300 gr JHP's a try .... a few minutes ago I happened onto an ad offering a sale on Nosler 44 Caliber 300 Grain Sporting Handgun Revolver JHP (OVER-RUN) - 100ct ===> http://www.shootersproshop.com/nosler-p ... 100ct.html <=== they had a limited inventory and I apparently got the last two boxes .... comments from anyone who has used both 240 and 300 gr bullets in their Henry 44 Mag would be appreciated .... I have no clue what to expect in performance and am really looking forward to experimenting with them
