Has anyone tried these? Do you have to trim cases like other caliber?

I've fired about a half of a box in our 45-70 .... for Hornady to keep within the standard length specs, the casings are shorter than standard and should only be reloaded with FTX bullets .... that eliminates them from my consideration ... I've heard the same is true for their other calibers but don't know that for sure ....

If cases have to be trimmed, I won't mess with them either.

you don't have to trim the cases. I use them and I had excellent results as far as cycling and being accurate. I had to send my Hornady bullet seating die back to Hornady. They had to replace the stem and it works perfectly now. Let know how you make out.
