.Star Line .30-06 Brass

Post by Pitchman1968 » Wed Jan 08, 2025 9:26 am

Like myself, in addition to reloading brass for Henry rifles, it is likely some members of this Forum reload .30-06 Springfield brass. There currently is a shortage of moderately priced .30-06 brass. If anyone has used that brass, I would value your input and experience with that brass. I load .30-06 for bolt action rifles and the M! Garand. Thanks in advance for your input.

I've used Starline for a long time and it is my first choice in brass, regardless of caliber. In my experience they combine decent pricing with consistant quality.

I’ve used Starline for both 300 Blackout and 41 mag with great success.

I've used Starline for my .45acp brass going back to the 1980s. Actually, it's the 1000 pieces that I bought way back then that I'm still using. Also load their brass for my 6mmARC, and it's been fine for that as well.
Almost all the 30-06 brass I have is from shooting the Garand matches with my buddies many years ago, so no direct experience with Starline in that cartridge, but I would be confident in using Starline in anything they make brass for.

My experience with Starline brass has been only positive. I've never used their 30-06 brass but other calibers i've purchased have been top quality. I will use them again when I need more new brass.
