My new 20 gage dbl. barrel opens a new door to.....

Going to try something as a test to knock those carpenter bees out the sky without too much surrounding damage.
Will make up some 20 gage mini shells loaded with #12 shot and a mild load of powder. Have a sack of 12 shot and plenty of shotgun primers so maybe a fun little project.

As long as it’s for scientific reasons it should be okay. Just don’t do it for fun. :D

Those carpenter bees deserve it. They are tough on my wood siding. I did knock one out of the air with a fly swatter a few days ago. He didn't last long after that.

Hey forty, back when primers were relatively cheap, I'd load 38 spl brass.
I forget the powder amount be near nothing, then a thin piece cardboard, then oatmeal and another thin piece of cardboard.
Quite fun. ;)

Dave, we use some badminton rackets, the seven yo grandson is quite good at it I might say. 8-)
