I went down to one of the few places that stocks supplies today.
Scored a little powder, was getting low on the 3031, and why not grab another 2400 while I was there and it was too.
Taxes included $154 otd.

Drooling over that 2400 right here, that and most other Alliant powders are not to be found around here.

Was the IMR powder more than the 2400

He had 2 pounds of it, I already had 2+ lbs at home.
So I just grabbed the one, and yes Alliant powders are SLIM to none around here also.
I'd love to see some red dot on a shelf.

Same price, $46.99 + uncle Sam's part.
IMR 4350 was $62.99 +, but
IMR 4198 was $49.99
Most of the Win. and Hodgdon pistol powders were $36.99+

Have any of you Pugnose lovers tried that load in one of your 357 mag pistols? They have one heck of a bark out of my Blackhawks

Al, last week when GFK was looking at the new King Cobras, I pulled mine out and dusted it off. Been a good while since I last shot it.
I grabbed 6 of those and ran them through it from like 10 yds. I didn't think it was all that bad. And considering how long since I last put rounds through it I did ok.

How long of a barrel on your BH?

The one I shot it outa was the 4 5/8. It was about like a full power 158 load. On a side note just bought a Rock Island 1911 in 40 to good a deal to pass up

I took it and the 41 mag BH with a 6.5" barrel out I can't really tell much difference in their weight.
Just looked up the specs, the KC was 28 oz, and the 4 5/8s BH is 45 0z.

I liked the 45 acp RI I had, and this High Standard I recently bought was made at the same facility.
I'm going to put some rounds through it here after while.

I like 1911 even if there brass throwers they are great guns to shoot. I have so much 40 brass and powder I might as well shoot some of it up. I have a Smith M&P 40 but its one of the older ones and it has a terrible trigger. Need to check into a different one.

A lucky dog scoring that Alliant 2400 !! None around the local shops but I have some.

and, no shipping charge or hazmat fees.
