Primers again at my LGS....

Post by fortyshooter » Fri Nov 04, 2022 7:26 pm

Stopped by there this afternoon to see they had Remington small pistol 1 1/2 primers in stock at $79.99 for 1000. Interesting that they now keep primers in a locked display case at the checkout in the Ammo area. Picked up one box to add to my supply.

That's good news Forty. One local shop by me has had some small pistol primers, but large pistol primers are still scarce.

Glad you got'em. They sure aren't coming down in price, not to mention hard to find most times.

I agree. It seems this is becoming the "new" normal.

Man, ain't THAT ever true!!! :o

I wish I'd known 10 yrs.ago how much these things would go up. I'd have bought every box I could get my sausage fingers on. Selling primers nowadays would do much better than my IRA is doing...... ;) Coulda been my retirement fund.......

I got sucker the other day. LGS website said they had small magnum pistol primers. Went there - none and hadn't been in quite some time according to the gun desk clerk.
