Anyone know a good place to find a jar of this that is reasonably priced... that c and add one percussion caps...
Just wanting to put back some extra without abusing the tired old pocketbook....

Pyrodex Select is my choice for sidelocks as it ignites easier than 777 and 2nd only to black. 777 is my choice for in lines as it has more push. The select is more corrosive and has more buildup. Hot soap and water is the key.

Haven't seen any in a bit around here, but
on a stroll through the sporting goods section of WW last Thurs., I did find some #11 caps.
Got 4 of the 5 they had, $5.32 per 100.
So I should be good for a good spell.
