2K Colt . . . how that's a lot of shooting
RNG, been shooting 45 COLT since the 80's.Been using Starline Brass for the past 20 years. Still have 600 more to break down. It's a good thing I have enough Trail Boss to full them all. :D

Respect NV, love the 45 Colt (Henry, El Patron and Blackhawk). Starline is my go to for brass as well. After years of shaming my son, he just broke down and purchased his first 45 Colt. (I told him it was too big for his girly hands, even though I have to look up to his 6'4 frame).

Lately I have been using Missouri Bullet Cowboy #4 coated 250 grain. Preforms well in both pistol and rifle.

RNG, I have been using Laser Cast 250 RNFP with a Brinell Hardness:15. No leading in the barrel.Use them in my Uberti Cattleman, Outlaw and my Virginian Dragoon. The 2000 I broke down were for my Virginian Dragoon loaded with 8.7 Unique.
Now using Trail Boss 5.4gr and 244 6.7gr. Giving the Dragoon a brake.

Hope your son has a blast shooting his new 45 Colt. Bet he will grow to love it.
RNG, respect thank you for your service.
