Bullet Pullers

Anybody have experience using a collet bullet puller on lead or plated bullets? I've got a large batch of 40 S&W rounds I want to disassemble and do not want to use a kenitic puller. Most of the collet type are not recommended for lead. I assume this is because they will damage the bullet.

Thanks

Paul

hello !
i use rcbs bullet puller on 45-70 lead bullet, because it is nearly impossible to remove bullet with kinetic hammer
bullet can go to mold after ! :D

I use the RCBS for 5 different rifle calibers - jacketed bullets. It works like a charm on those. No marks or distortion on the retrieved bullet. I haven't used it on lead though. Hope someone can answer that for you.
