Not as long as people keep paying these prices. Same for primers. Its like everyone is desperate.

Anyone who also loads for shotgun, Midway just stocked bricks of Federal 209A primers @ 74.00 per brick. I just jumped on 2 of them.

Components are still very scarce in local shops by me. I was out today and stopped by a local supplier and asked about primers. He just laughed and shook his head. Although he did have some powders on the shelves. I'm not interested in powders for now, so I never checked prices.
You guys are right. As long as people keep paying these inflate Gunbroker prices this crazy spiral will never end.

This powder sold for 552.00. I bet the guy who sold it is laughing all the way to the bank.

Hey Al, I saw some Accurate 4350 the other day, the guy at the store said they are similar.
Similar not exact, have you ever tried any?
Thought about next time I'm that way I might grab one.

I was in a Spokane shop yesterday looking for the elusive Henry 410 lever and they had quite a bit of powder on hand. Including 296 and H110 for around $38 per pound. Didn’t buy any but I’m going to check my 296 inventory and might go back for a pound. Damn I hate to pay $38 for a pound of powder.

No havent tried that Randy. Probably would if I could find some local. Problem is right now when you find any online they limit you to 1lb. time you stick freight and haz mat on that it makes it close to 50 a lb. Ive got some H380 and 4895 at home. Im gonna try that in the 243. I see some guys online liking those 2 powders. So after posting this I went to Midway and found IMR 4350. I put one in my cart. With shipping and tax 65.00 a lb. No way. Hatch dont complain about 38 a lb. Thats cheap

That powder there was 40.99 or 41.99, can't remember which.
He had some H110 for $36.99+ tax of course.

I hear you Al. When I checked my inventory I found I was down to one nearly full pound of 296. It had a price tag on it of $23.99. I guess I’d better go back and grab a pound if they have any left.

Saw some 4350 on the shelves at Sportsmans Warehouse today. Not sure the price, but pretty sure it was around the same as the CFE 223 I picked up there for $38 for a 1 lb bottle after Military discount. My buddy bought a bottle of the CFE while we were there, told me I could have it, if I wanted.

Was in Bass Pro in Mesa, Az yesterday and they had 3 lever 410s on the shelf; I think they were about $875.

I looked at the Mesa store’s website and like you said they have the X Model in stock. Road trip?

Funny, I was just looking at Arizona snowbird options the other day. Seems like I do this every January when the winter doldrums set in.
I’m torn between the X Model and the 24” wood/blue. Both have interchangeable choke tubes and while the X Model makes more sense for banging around in the side by side that blue/wood is just so damn pretty.
Back on topic, I went back to Sportsman’s Warehouse and grabbed a pound of the 296. Look at the two prices, that’s only a 40% increase.

Don’t remember when I picked up this 296 for $24 but notice it does have a different style label on it.

When I was there, they had all three versions on the shelf. If I could find any 410 ammo, I could have been tempted.

Yeah, I have been watching both the local trader site and the stores for 410 ammo. Even tho right now I don’t own a 410 I plan to buy ammo when I see it.

Hey Hatchdog, I just received a notification from Midway, they have some 410 in stock including Winchester AA 1/2 oz #9 shot for 16.99 a box (25 rounds). They have some other stuff also.
