Reloading Equipment Manufacturers

This morning, as I was doing my daily internet search for large rifle & large pistol primers, the thought occurred to me that it is good that I have no money invested in the reloading industry. Companies such as Lee Precision, RCBS, Dillon, Redding, etc., who generate most of their revenue from reloading equipment, must be really hurting. Hornady and Lyman, who are diversified into other shooting gear items, are probably less impacted by the primer shortage. Everything I hear and read indicates the primer issue will continue into at least mid 2023. I hope the non-diversified primer makers have enough cash on hand to carry them through the next 2 years. We do not want them to go out of business because less competition in a given product field is never good for us...... the consumers.

I don't think that reloading manufacturers are really hurting. Demand for their products has gone up, not down.

^Agree there was a time here not long ago when you couldnt buy a set of dies from Dillon for there machines because they were sold out. Now the price has gone way up and there still limited on availability. As far as Lee goes Im looking for a round ball mould 6 cavity in one size and they are sold out in most of the sizes they offer.

I've always kept a good supply of components on hand. So my Dillon's/RCBS/Lee/Hornady/Mec equipment keeps turning out shotshells and ammo. Within the mentioned manufacturers they have expirenced material shortages just like everyone else. So. if you can't get it it may be awhile before you do.
