Has anyone tried out the 100grain .312” A-Frames in the 327 mag? I was curious what kind of penetration and expansion it gets compared to the 100gr .312” hornady XTP.

I don't own one, but have a friend up in Misery that does, but I'm pretty sure he mostly shoots PC cast in his.
I could ask.

What application, hunting? Varmints? Self defense? I don’t know if you are aware of these, but I love them in a revolver and they are affordable, especially direct from Lehigh ….

These do not penetrate as far as the Xtreme Penetrator, which is not available in a .312 caliber.

Deer and hog hunting is what I plan to use them for. I’ve seen the Xtreme penetrators before and they seem like they would be a good option for the swine but I’m not sure if they comply with my states projectile requirements for hunting(ie you can’t use FMJ) but I’d have to talk to a DNR rep to be sure. I think the a-frame would be a nice compromise between the XTP and the xtreme bullet.
