Oh man that is not good! I load Unique and some Red Dot with Missouri Bullet coated bullets. Will give them a call.

I have quite a few loaded at the moment.
Curious as to what they have to say.

I wouldn't get to upset about his conclusions in his first video. His testing was as unscientific as could be. The first question I had when I watched this video is why didn't he just pull a few of the bullets he already had made and sitting for 6 months. Second he kept talking about "Harbor Freight" powder coat and some "other" coating he used. Commercial bullet makers don't use Harbor Freight powder coat. They use a product specifically designed for bullet coating purposes.

Now if you watch his second video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycl5MF24-Qs/ he fired off most of the rounds he had made and they all functioned correctly. His conclusion was that a maybe in his testing something else effected the powder coating.

Some real controlled testing is needed before I would worry about this problem. I currently has some 9mm loads that a are about 1 1/2 years old. They are loaded with Acme coated bullets. I've been using them in pistol matches this year and have have no problems or any sign of coating in the bore of my Glock 17.

Forty, I hope you share what Mo. Bullets has to say. I have always thought they make a quality bullet so I think their coating has been tested.

Does coating improve accuracy? If so I might try it myself..thanks..

Not sure if it improves anything, but in most cases it really cuts down on barrel leading.
also you can push them a little hard if you so desire.
I like powder coating way better than lubing cast bullets.
I wanted to learn casting just so I could make some cheaper bullets, and not have to relie on others.
Wasn't crazy about the lubing, to messy and a pain to me.
Once my buddy from the St. Louis area showed me how to PC, I was all in.

Tried powder coating today with Lee 240 grain tumble bullets. Only did 25 to start with. Eastwood Ford blue..

Done a few 245 gr today.

Agree. We here have been using these in various calibers with seemingly no bad effects. Not stopping now.

What's your OAL with those pictured? Really can't tell from the angle, but, they look like they're seated long. Could just be the picture.
