Loading a classic Colt 45 load today....
250 gr. RNFP over 8.3 - 8.5 Unique powder. for my lever rifles and revolvers. Used my last 40 MB 250 bullets but placed a new order today and also found some Speer 250 Deep Curl or Gold Dot bullets too.

You can't go wrong with those MB 250 gr RNFP bullets. They are my goto bullet for 45 Colt. You can load them up or down and they always perform well.
The Speer 250 gr. Deep Curl is a great hunting bullet. Push them as fast as you like and they will hold together and penetrate. Not so much for the Gold Dots. They have a velocity threshold and when exceeded they will start to fragment. Stay below that threshold and they perform well for hunting.
