200 gr rnfp cast for deer

Probably the farthest of my shots will be 70 yrs at the most then it's thicker than hell. You think this bullet will be better than 180 gr xtp bullets?.Times a wasting..

what caliber are you using .... if you do your part and put the bullet on target, either of them will take a deer .... with that large a difference in type and weight, the first thing to determine is which one does your rifle like the best .. :?:

Agree whole heartedly with Jim's post above.
Whichever you get to group the best, I myself prefer the cast.
Usually a lot less damaged meat.

I prefer a rnfp vs a swc for hunting.
But saying that I once got small 4 pt. with mg Ruger Vaquero and a swc.
He was only a bout 20 yds. away, but it dropped him on the spot.
I believe I was using 10 grs of Unique.
