.

Necessity is the mother of invention, right?
I wasn't sure what to do about drum or vibrating or stainless steel pins so I picked up some walnut media and made my own budget brass cleaner for now.
Literally costed $4.28
It actually works really well.
I had a bunch of plastic bottles and the "Simply" brand worked real well. The cap is already heavy duty so I added oversized washers to help further strengthen it and used an M8 hex bolt with a locking nut. The squarish shape of the bottle helps agitate the shells as well.
This juice bottle was made for brass cleaning! lol
Attached it to my cordless and got some pretty good results!

If I didn't already have two tumblers (one is a Raytech Adjusta-Vibe 75 with ceramic media) I'd get one of the stainless pin rotary models.
The other tumbler I have is a Thumbler's Tumbler.

I like that Thumlers :-) under 200 bucks!
I'll have another rifle before I have a 1750 dollar brass cleaner - that's like 1746 dollars more than mine lol

To be fair I use the Raytech for my repair business. I use it to polish woodwind keys otherwise I wouldn't own it either. Sure beats breathing buffing compound dust.

I'm guessing you can do all kinds of stuff with commercial grade polishers. Woodwind keys like clarinets and such? That's interesting :-)
