Found these at Sportsmans but not sure if these are worth loading? Anybody have any experience with Gallant loads and poly coated bullets?
Looking at Grizzly gas checks or just plain lead as well. This suddenly got confusing.

Not yet, I passed on the 405's for now, didn't want to rush into in and they are non-returnable

Hey KMB, I use the Missouri Buffalo #1 Hi Tek 405 grain coated in my 45-70 and have had great performance. I just received another 500 bullets a couple of months ago. Haven't shot a buffalo yet, but love the bullet.

Good to know! I think my last ammo purchase was "Misery-cast" - I couldn't hold a grouping from 50 yds

OK I ordered the 300 grain "small buffalo" coated Missouri bullets for starters. I believe I have everything here or coming to me now minus powder. Thanks again all!

I'm trying to get somewhere between the super accurate Hornady's Ive been using and the easy-on-the-shoulder cowboy loads. This is practically the only reason why I'm getting into reloading plus the cost of these rounds is over two bucks a piece these days.
