I like this bullet for 45 ACP or 45 Colt whether for short or long barrel handguns or carbine for self defense use.
As I found out from my short barrel 45 Colt revolver test...the Bulldog.... it performed really well within standard 45 Colt load of 9.2 Unique for 16 inch gel block penetration and .600 expansion. For 45 Colt 9.2 gr of Unique is the number.
Will load up more of these!
Site seems to be working OK.
230 gr. XTP HP bullet a great all around choice.

Forty, what was your target to retrieve the bullet? Did you use ballistic gel?

Clear Ballistic gel a 6 x16 block with cardboard backup. See the Range Report video "Two Bulldogs and a Terrier".runnin n gunnin wrote: ↑Wed Jul 21, 2021 12:32 pmForty, what was your target to retrieve the bullet? Did you use ballistic gel?

Very nice, XTP is my #1 choice of bullets for all of my handguns as well as the .308, 7mm and 5.56/ I'm just too cheap to buy gel.
