Re: Henry Big Boy Steel 41 Rem Mag Reloading
My Big Boy Steel .41 Mag came in yesterday on special order at my local Cabela's and I got to pick it up today. I haven't been as excited about a new rifle in many years and can't wait to take it to the range to shoot it!
I haven't shot it yet so can't comment on what bullets shoot best but I'm planning on ordering some 265 grain gas checked bullets from Montana Bullets and wonder if anyone else has shot them in their .41 Big Boy Steel. If they're too long to cycle through the action the 240 grain gas checked bullets from Montana Bullets look good too!
Since I'm interested in heavier bullets for the .41, I'm interested in knowing what other guys have found to shoot best too!

I haven't shot many but I loaded some 280 gr wfln gc'ed beartooth bullets.
They did pretty good, just need some cooler weather before I can spend some quality time pursuing a definite load.
I will say I'm optimistic though.
These have an oal of 1.69" and cycled just fine, mine would even eject the loaded rounds without a hitch.
Been real busy with work and spending 8 to 9 hrs. in the heat so when not working I try to avoid being in it as much as possible.
