LGS revisit

Post by PJM » Fri Jun 11, 2021 10:10 am

Bagged a lb. Of 748. Would not sell me 2. Still no primers. Have some 400 large rifle left , no large pistol magnum. Have to really reduce my 44 mag shooting.

I snagged two flats of large rifle yesterday at my lgs. Still no small pistol and powder selection was slim. Tried to order some IMR at the Hodgon site today but I can't get past the added to cart stage. I thought it was one order per calendar month but they must be going by time because when I put in my email address I can't get to the billing stage. It's probably been only two or three weeks since my last order in May.

I stopped by a pawn shop about 35 mile from home and was surprised he had a pretty good selection of ammo. He had quite a selection of pistol ammo in popular calibers (9mm, 38/357 mag 40 S&W and 45 ACP). He said he's starting to get in ammo about once a week. I hope this is a good sign and maybe things are looking better. He doesn't sell reloading supplies (bummer).
