Re-crimp?

Hey you reloading guru's, I've got a bunch of factory ammo that will not feed worth a darn through my .41mag BBS. All my reloads with a fairly heavy roll crimp run through like butter but the factory seems to catch on the rim of the brass. Would there be any danger putting a bit of roll on that factory stuff? I can't imagine they are loaded heavy enough that extra crimp would create to much pressure. I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has done it before. Thanks, Dave

Are you sure its catching on the mouth of the brass that sounds strange to me. Factory ammo should feed like or better than the reloads. What brand of ammo is it?

The ammo is Remington 210 soft point. Don't know if you can tell from picture but this is the point that it catches. Other pic is a factory next to my reload xtp's which cycle just fine.

I'd be prone to recrimp one and give it a try

I've had to do that before on some factory .45 ACP Hornady ammo I got once. I don't see anything wrong with it.
