Those pugnose 357's showed up yesterday, I sat them on the bench. ;)
Pretty little red buggers they are. :D

Yeah, I emptied a few yesterday in between the 45's.
I will give 'em a try shortly.

Cleaned it up a little yesterday. Things were getting out of hand. I will probably load up some extra plated 230 grain round nose .45 ACPs before Clovispup and I go to the range today. Don't want the Pup to run out of .45s.

Sizing brand new 35 Reminton cases.
Decided to shoot 35rem in Lever Action Silhouette this year so I broke out a stash.
Have a good stock of Speer 180 and 220 flat points. Testing Barry's 158s
Looking at those .35 Rem cases; you fellas have any issues at all with that brief shoulder on those cases? Or it simply isn't problematic? Thanks.

I use a Lee universal mouth expander die and don't have any problems.

Never had a problem loading jacketed stuff.
But for cast I bought a Lyman M die, which is basically a neck expander.
Have a couple of them in different calibers.

Before I left for work this morning I loaded 14 of those pugnose 357's.
I like that wide flat nose.

After looking at these bullets I dug out the jar with the 180's that my buddy used to cast.
They are very similar, the lube grooves are a little different but the nose is the same or so close I can't tell. ;)

Well this morning I loaded a few rounds for the MX, then
I cleaned primer pockets, neck sized, and primed 70+ 45 colt cases.
After lunch, yep ate it at the bench also.
Then I built that lower. :o ;)
It has finally stopped raining.

Not so much as did anything at the bench, but, I did add another box of 250gr RNFP Missouri bullets to the bench and a couple of ammo boxes. My local handloading store had loads of Missouri bullets, so picked up some this morning. I'll be back at the bench Monday.

I loaded up some 40 S&W to take to the range. Shot them in my Ruger PC 40 and they shot very well had 2 different powder charges. Also shot the 357 today it functions like its supposed to. So now I have a 158 gr Rose Bullet and the Rifletom 180 load. Gonna work on some 41 mag stuff in the future.

Sounds interesting, with some variety.
The FA's what's that got 7.5, 8.5 inch barrel?
I took a nice little doe with 6.5" 41 BH several years ago.
