I use a lot of Unique for .45 Colt and low-mid level .44 Mag loads as well as .45 ACP and .38 Special.
From what I see in my load manuals Unique can work for mild .357 Mag loads since you give up speed at max levels of pressure.
That's why Alliant 2400 is a great powder for .357 and .44 Magnum.
Power Pistol is just a bit slower than Unique so may work better in some mild Magnum loads.

I just ordered 500 MB 158 gr. round nose .38 Special bullets to use with Unique and Power Pistol loads in .38 Special loads for revolver use.

Went ahead and ordered some Alliant 2400 powder this afternoon from Mid South Shooters Supply and the hazmat fee wasn't to bad at 16 bucks.
The only LGS that has a good selection of powders was still out and no telling when they will have any.

Well the first part of the week I spent some time at the bench, loaded 100 rds. of 41 mag, 60 rds. of 44 and 25 rds of the 180 gr 357's.
Also got quite a bit of brass all cleaned up, Wed. I even had a small casting session cast 75 270 gr 41's and 50 230 gr 45's.
Then the mailman showed up with a shipment from Missouri, 500 250 gr, & 500 200 gr, all 45's.
Then yesterday I took the scooter out for some fresh air, and stopped at a couple gunshops, ended up with 6000 primers and 200 more pieces of Hornady 357 brass.

One of my stops. A regular ATF, as they really sell beer and cigarettes, then the other section is reloading, ammunition and firearms. :o

I put away four lbs of powder and some primers. Need to go shoot before any more reloading work.

Not sure what brand they are, replacements from the big crash last year.
Pretty bright at night, better than the '99 factory ones were. ;)

About to get her out for a short ride.
Lawnmower battery dead, wife's headed to pick up GS #2.
While she's out she volunteered to pickup a new one.
So I have a couple hrs to kill.
Later.

I gonna load up a handful of those 250's I got for the Cowboy later and see how they shoot next to the last batch that I got from Brazo.
This afternoon or tomorrow.

Sorted thru a batch of 9mm brass I had bought online, different headstamps. Sorted them out by HS. Threw the odd balls out, still wound up with well over 400 pcs, already cleaned & ready for the next step. Actually, the next step right now is getting bullets. Got some on order, but everybody is behind, so............

45-70's I'm guessing, hard to tell on the phone.
Yards mowed.
Edit: I see that is exactly what they be.

RP, looks like things are going to get bumpy tonite, for you and me, later. A thunderstorm ( if that's all it is ), makes for good sleeping. Hope my weather radio doesn't decide to stay up all nite, LOL.

I'm in the same boat. Waiting on stuff. Got some 9mm stuff & 45/70 stuff ordered. I'm expecting at least 2 weeks, who knows.
All vendors are running behind on orders, so anybody's guess. Heck, they don't know either.

It's kinda stalled at the Mighty Miss. as they sometimes do.
And sometimes they swell after they cross it also.
Looks like it's gonna start with a bang as there's a lot of red on the East side of it.
