I need to change back to large primer on the Dillon 550B. I have to stock up on 45 Colt and 45 ACP. I finally finished up the 5.56s and the 9mms. The wife will be happy to get shooting her Sigs again. She takes good care of me and lets me reload all her ammo!

About to do another 50 or so here, getting low.
Placed an order at MBC, got 500 250's for the colts, and another 500 200's for the 1911.

Power has been out for a couple hours. Supposed to be back on soon. House is quiet. Woodstove crackling and loading press going....

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well I got another 50 rounds of 250 gr 45's and 20 rounds of 200 gr 45's all done.
Then found 18 more cases, so they have been sized and primed, maybe 20 more 250 pills in the bag.
But more on the way so all's good.
Was going to tumble some brass, but seems it has bit the dust.
So went to Midway and found one of the rotary tumblers on sale, reg $159, now $99 so it's on the way also.
Been wanting one for a while, just wouldn't still have a lot of media for this old one.
What to do with all that, maybe someone close needs it.
I'll give it to them just to get it out of the way.

You'll like the rotary tumbler. I've had a Thumblers tumbler for a few yrs. now. Wish I had know about them yrs. ago. Decap first, & they'll come out factory fresh.Vaquero wrote: ↑Sun Mar 15, 2020 5:40 pmWell I got another 50 rounds of 250 gr 45's and 20 rounds of 200 gr 45's all done.

I didn't have much tumbling media left, threw it out. No one close by to give it to.
Enjoy your new toy, LOL

Shut off my tumbler that had run all night with some 45-70 brass. Those cases are shinny now.

Oh I already know, the friend I had in Fl built his own, and a couple years ago when I was there he demonstrated with some 9 mm.
I was like WOW, I just been putting it off, this has been a good one.

Another piece of gear I wish I had know about yrs. ago, is the Forster Co-Ax press. I got one a few yrs ago & love it. So much easier to use than my old RCBS Jr. press. They're not cheap, but worth it for me.
