Sounds just like the gunshows around here. I quit going several years ago during Covid and just haven’t gone back.BigAl52 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 9:29 pmWent to a gun show today. I saw #11 percussion caps for 25.00 a tin. Thats just Hwy robbery. I cant believe people in shooting sports would have enough balls to charge that much. I alos sa Rossi leveguns so far overpriced I hope the eat them for what they are asking.

What size tin? A tin of 250 seems to start at about that and go up from there.BigAl52 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2024 9:29 pmWent to a gun show today. I saw #11 percussion caps for 25.00 a tin. I separated out 65lbs of 40 sw brass. I ended up with 63lbs of 40sw and an additional 2lbs of 357 sig brass.
Next up is cleaning the brass in batches. From there, I'll need to anneal it in batches for swaging into jacket blanks for .452 JSP's.

I've got a couple hundred .38 Spl's to load with RCBS 148 WC's over 3.3 grains of 231. Too lazy to readjust the Square Deal dies from .357 to .38 so I just lubed up the ancient 4 station C&H press that is all set to go for that load.
