Randy, the 2400 and BD do look pretty close. I'm picking up another lb of 2400 today, that will give me 6 lb, well, 5.5 lb.
That a Rossi? Fine looking rifle there. To the bench after breakfast.

Yes sir, it's an older one of the Puma Rossi rifles with the 24" octagon barrels. Thank you.
The fuel pump went out in my Blazer, so that's what I'm about to tackle.
Have a good day.

One of the older Blazers? Might be an easy fix; the newer ones, not so sure. You'll getter done.

An older one, '99. I have a friend with a shop and a "lift"
It's my hunting and knocking around truck.
We'll get 'er done. Headed there shortly, just got to get it on the trailer.
Help is on the way.
Maybe tomorrow, suppose to be raining most of the day so not much else to do.
Six pounds.

Fuel pump duty doesnt sound like fun if its one of those inside the fuel tank.

Yes. Al, my friend is a mechanic, has the shop and all the proper tools.
It won't take us too long.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Yesterday I started in on my 300 Blackout project. Never had this caliber before so I’m starting from scratch. I deburred/chamfered and sized 50 pieces of brass and then loaded 25 for a powder test. I loaded five each with 296, H110, AA1680, 2400 and CFE BLK. I used the Hornady 125 gr FMJ and a powder charge in the middle of the range for each powder. I’ll group these and use the powder that worked best and then do a bullet test with the 110, 125 and 155 grain bullets I have on hand. After that I’ll do a charge test with the chosen powder and bullet.
Looks like I have a burr in the seater plug on my brand new Lee dies. I didn’t notice it when loading as I was more focused on the seating depth. I’ll pull the plug before loading any more and check. Funny, when I looked at the picture I took the ringmark on the bullet was the first thing I noticed.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Just finished off the last of a lb. of 2400.
No worry, I have 3 more.
I got 10 rounds of 38-55 with a 255 gr. pill, and
45 rounds of 357.
I also loaded 25 357s with 9.4 grs. of Blue dot.
All of those were with MB's 180 gr. Pugnose.
