What did you do at your reloading bench today?

Not much at the bench as of lately, eaten there a time or two.
Thinking about loading some 45 colts in the next day or so.
Buuuuuut, this weekend...
Off of a couple other gun forums, I bought some stuff.
102 new pcs. of 35 Rem. brass, of which 34 are primed.
179 pcs. of 1x fired 45 colt brass, where'd that other one go, and
355 210 gr swc 41 mag bullets.
Not that I really need them that badly, it was that the prices were just so good.

Going to load up the .45 Colt I shot up yesterday[not the leverevolution brass] with 6.0gr Red Dot. Likin' that load a lot. So, next range session will be at the mountain range. Same revolver with the RD load and 7.2gr Universal. Same bullet. The Shoot Out!

Tom, I've been out of Red Dot for some time now so my go-to load for 45 Colt is 7.2 of Universal with 250 gr RNFP. My Marlin and Blackhawk both like that load and it's plesant to shoot.

Paul, 7.2gr Universal is indeed a very good load in .45 Colt. It gets used a lot in my Pietta and Henry. I believe I got that idea from Ranch Roper.
Regardless, it's a fine load. More loading today.
