Not really directly for the reloading bench, but I need to find an easy to set up and quality chrono. The one I have is more hassle than a politician with his hand on your wallet.

I have an old cheapy bullet model from remington. It requires two long cables. Because of the cables, it is more susceptible to wind shift even on my professional photography tripod. I usually have to weigh it down with a full backpack.

While cheap at the time, and with over 7 years of use, it is time to move on to something that is Bluetooth capable or has a blue tooth screen close enough for me to read it.

I've looked at lab radar, but am unsure it is what I need. Prochrono dlx? Caldwell both make blue tooth models that have my interest if I can find one in stock.

The Lab is really good, but expensive. I use a Competition Electronics ProChrono DLX Bluetooth Chronograph. It sets up easy, and is very versitle. You can blue tooth it to your smart phone and get immediate readings and tracking, but also Bluetooth it to your laptop and use the software to track all of your loads, calibers, etc.

I also have a Magneto V3 which is also very good, but I like the interface with the Pro Chrono the best.

Thursday : dry tumbled 200 38special shells. Friday: primed 200 38special shells. Saturday : loaded 100 38 special Hornady 148 grain wadcutters with 3.7 grains Winchester 231. Have to keep a few boxes of wadcutters on hand for future ammo bartering . A box of 50 rounds on the Federal website costs $49.99. I still have a few primers left that cost 4 cents and some 8 cent bullets.
