"The feel." Rugerfanboy, that's really interesting that you bring that up. It's not something I remember reading about before I started reloading, but I quickly learned about it when I first started using my press. I was SLOW, and I also ruined quite a few pieces of brass by crushing them. I didn't have a feel for when something wasn't "right."

After a bit, when you do get that feel, things go a lot more smoothly.

I have 3 Dillon Square deal presses. One I have had a long time and it was sent back to Dillon once for a rebuild. No charge. Are they the best? I dont know I have never used a Hornady Lock N Load or the Lee. I also have a rcbs rocker chucker which I single stage on for rifle and large caliber pistol. Whats best for one doesnt work for the other. Thats why we have choices. I hope I have not ever given anyone an impression that my blue presses are the best and what they have is inferior. Im sure there is some red progressives out there that do a great job. Al
