The factory jacketed are probably .429. Hornady XTP's are .430. That may be one of the reasons they are so accurate in .44 revolvers and rifles. Glad to hear the .430 MBC coated are working well. Have you measured to groove diameter of your particular barrel?

I have not measured my barrel, it is a round BBS, not a BBB with the octagon barrel FWIW
Most of my 50-100yd shooting is metal targets, but am consistent with both loads. 23.4g H110 moves the target a lot more :)

I experience horrible groups with 10.0 gr of Unique and 23.0 gr H110 and a Lasercast 240 gr SWC sized at .431. The accuracy may be much better with a slightly higher charge of H110, but I have not pursued that since my results were so poor. Bob Palermo (owner of Penn Bullets) told me that in order to get good accuracy with H110, I would need a heavier charge of powder than I used.
