Note To Self

Post by JEBar » Mon Jul 31, 2017 12:41 pm

Note : don't mix 9mm and 44 or 45 caliber casings in a tumbler .... doing so will routinely end up with 2 (on occasion 3) 9mm's stuffed into each 45-70 casing :o and at least 1 in a 44 Mag casing .. :o .. through trial and error you can figure out how to get them out but doing so ain't fun

I occasionally end up with a 9mm mixed in with my .45 ACP cases. If I do, it WILL get stuck in one of the .45 cases. Fortunately they are short enough that I can always just pull them apart by hand.

I do visually check the inside of all my cases prior to loading. I once had a .22lr impaled on my decapper pin for .357. Ended up having to chuck it up in the lathe and turn it off.
