Shout out to Lee Precision!

Post by Kissmybrass » Fri Nov 19, 2021 2:35 pm

Have the Lee Factory Crimp Die for 45-70 (normal one) but needed the Hornady shortie version which just came in stock.
Tried to order it online and some weird tax thing with Wisconsin prohibited me from getting it.
So I called and spoke with Kathy there and she was wonderful in first checking all around my area for a distributor and then when nothing popped up she manually took all my info down and made it happen!!! I love amazing CS! Have that with Henry and now Lee :-)

Good for you KMB, it's good to know there are still some fine American companies that stand behind there products.
Even some that'll go the extra mile to help a customer out.

Maybe I should give them a call and see if they have any 535 6 cavity roundball moulds coming out soon.

Some do have problems ordering from Lee directly, if they are in a state that expects Lee to collect sales tax. That rather sucks in this day and age.

Fortunately, I am not in one of those states. So, ordering replacement parts (spare bullet seating stems, old powder hopper, etc.) is generally free, just pay shipping.

I'm still a little cloudy about all that nexus state tax lingo but they really gave the 110% for me :-)
Here's what pops up and I have ordered stuff from all over the U.S. without problem.
