Dies for 38sp/357mag
Re: Dies for 38sp/357mag
You fired reloads thru a new rifle for the first time and hit a target..**SUCCESS** Straight wall cases 9mm,45acp etc use a taper crimp. Revolver cartridges such as 38/357 use a roll crimp. The taper crimp will partially size the brass. The roll crimp only rolls the case mouth to secure the bullet in the case..back out your crimp die it DOES NOT need to contact the shell holder. raise the ram and screw the adjustment knob in til it just touches and STOP. Lower ram and screw adjustment in 1/4 turn. It doesn't take much to hold a bullet.. Scope your rifle , load some Full house 357 with jacketed bullets and see what happens..
