I'm still experimenting with 4227 but so far, I have been getting better accuracy with my Unique loads. I have a friend that tried 4227 but gave up on it after not having much success. Guns sure are different as to what they like.
Both of mine are Ruger's. I have the convertible .45 LC/ 45 ACP and the .44 is the Ruger GP100 TALO

Oh ok, mine is the 1894, 45 Colt that I tried the 4227 in. I haven't tried the 4227 in my New Model Blackhawk 45 Colt. That to seems to like Unique over other powders I have tried.
