Too stressful for me!

Let me start with this.... To take my dog to his vet or even to just pick up his meds I am not allowed to walk in. You have to call
the office when you get there and then they come and get your dog or bring the meds to your car. Nobody allowed in!

To visit my primary care doctor.... you schedule your appointment and there is only ONE appointment at that time slot. You call when you arrive
and they come get you. Nobody else allowed in.

Now to the stress... The cardio doctor I'm going to now has no such covid restrictions. For my stress test coming next week there will be 9 other
paitients scheduled for same 3-4 hour procedure. That's 8 other people besides me along with whoever else comes along with these people sitting in a
average to small sized waiting area for 3 hours or so. No room in there for 12 or more people to space out 6 ft!!!
In this city where the office is they are getting spikes in covid cases.

To me right now I'm not ready for the close encounter with strangers for that amount of time with some not wearing a mask correctly! My primary doc didn't think it was a heart issue causing my dizziness and it did turn out to be an inner ear issue so far.
So I will see what the results are from my circulatory tests done today and then see if the cardio doc recommends the stress test later.

Myself, I would pass. You may remember my opinion of a stress test anyway, but with those conditions, I would be staying home.

I need to see a doctor about a bone spur and have been holding off. Actually the VA hospital just opened about two weeks ago.

Stay safe.

Interesting. My VA hospital is still closed except for cancer patients and appt. that can't be moved for various reasons. All clinics are closed except for virtual sessions with doctors and emails. Wonder if it is a regional thing based on the infection rates,

Our VA hospital is a really good one, but still on lock down. Have a friend and fellow VFW Rifle Squad
member who had a stroke and is recovering, and we cannot visit him. Another VFW member wanted to
be discharged to die at home and they would not release him for some odd reason. We're doing his
Funeral at Ft. Snelling on Tuesday. Ft. Snelling has its own full time Rifle Squad, but they are backed up two
months. The only way he could be buried there was if we did the ceremony for him.

Strange times.

Oh, one more thing. We have to have black face masks.

Required by Fort Snelling as a symbol of mourning.

Hope we all get thru this covid madness and that the sun shines on the other side!
But back to my topic...I'm amazed that this doctor runs such a loose setup in his office with mostly elderly with heart issues coming there.
Might be looking for another cardio Doc.

The VA hospital at Murfreesboro, Tn. is by appointment. You are verbally screened outside. No visitors. Most doctor appointments are by phone. I go every 2 weeks for a shot. no problems.
A mask is required at all times.

First off, I hope they figure out what's going on and get you on the mend.

Now...

In November.

I like the way he thinks.

And I haven't or don't wear the damn mask.

Haven't missed a days work through this ole BS situation except for bad weather.
Been in and around hundreds of people and places, with out a mask.
No sickness yet.

Doing fine now after visit and meds from my PC Doctor. All blood work looks good for a 66 yr. old on no other medications.
Cutting back the sweets and diet fat and now eating more berries, grapes and walnuts instead of tater chips. STILL having my one daily dose of CL though...Coors Light along with my walnuts!
