Lol, after 6 times or so, I'll still be watching it. I first seen it at the movies when it came out. I forgot the first spaghetti western that Clint Eastwood made but I seen that at the movies too when I was in Oakland, California awaiting my flight to Vietnam in 1966.

Anyone else notice near the end of the movie the graveyard scene the close up of Van Cleef's holster and belt. It shows a Remington cap and ball revolver with the back of the cylinder with the caps on it in his holster and metallic cartridges in his belt loops.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly featured an outstanding, dramatic musical track, composed by Ennio Morricone, who passed away Monday (7/6/21) at the age of 91. The movie itself is good; the musical track made it great and forever memorable. https://youtu.be/h1PfrmCGFnk

Ennio Morricone was more than one of the world’s great soundtrack composers — he was one of the world’s great composers, period. For me, his work stands with Bach, Mozart, Debussy, Ellington and Stravinsky in achieving that rare fusion of heart and mind. Dare we compare the five notes of his famous “coyote call” in “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” with the four opening notes of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony? Morricone’s music is just as timeless.
