Health scare while at my range this afternoon!

I needed to go down to my property to give the grass a quick cut before the rainy weather moves in Monday and just loaded my push mower in the truck. The plan was just to cut the area around my shooting shed and around the target area. Didn't want to get too tired out before shooting my 1873 Winchester 45 Colt rifle.
Well after cutting the grass I took the tarp off the Saloon and went on with shooting. Then I started to feel really tired and weak and decided to quit and put the tarp back up on the Bullseye Saloon.
Feeling weaker and starting to really sweat even though it was only 75 degrees out today...this was the same thing I had suffered after loading
this rig in my truck on Friday. Felt like I was going to pass out and here I am down in the woods by myself!
I manage to get in the truck take a drink of water and try and get home ASAP. I thought a heart attack may be coming on.
Got home and told my wife I need to get checked out NOW and she took me to the local hospital emergency center which is off the hospital site in our
city.
After several hours of checking vitals and blood tests it was determined I had not suffered a heart attack and blood and urine work looked good.
BP 120/70 and EKG was fine. I was now feeling OK but something is going on and this is 2nd time of it within 2 days after moderate to heavy work.
The Doc suggest a stress test for further evaluation and I did have a full cardio checkup about 7 yrs. ago.
This was a very scary situation and no more going to the range alone. I will ask my neighbor down there if he will cut the grass for me when he can
until I find out what is going on.
So looks like I will be planning on some tests as soon as things have freed up for doctors appointments and taking it easy!

Lets just hope it was an anxiety attack....after all, you seem to be very busy lately. Anxiety can bring on those symptoms. Be careful, and like was said, listen to your body!
You just built a saloon...
Just chill out some Forty...wishing you well though for sure!!!

Did you have your Cell Phone with you?
Hope everything checks out and goes well for you.
Word of caution on the Stress Test. My doctor wanted me to have one after a check-up years ago. I was only 49 at the time and in great health, but agreed to follow his recommendation. Well, that stress test almost killed me. They really pushed me to the limit. You also need to sign a bunch of paperwork before it. I actually regretted going. And sure enough, the results were fine, no problems.

Thanks for words of support! I had my cell phone with me like always. Had a full cardio work up done seven years ago and everything was fine then.
Have an appointment with my cardio doctor in a couple days and will see what he recommends. One thing I don't want is to catch Covid 19 while at the doctor's office!
No chest pain was noticed just very lightheaded and cold sweat which is something new. At 66 guess I have to slow down some.

Good point. It wouldn't hurt to take a temperature reading.
Have you taken one Forty?
My wife just bought one of those instant fancy ones that you just point at your forehead and it instantly gives a digital reading. It's pretty cool.

Glad your ok, and made it back to the house. Grunt asked if you were diabetic. I've had those exact symptoms. Sometimes when I'm working hard and haven't had a snack between meals my sugar goes way low, and I nearly pass out, plus I'll sweat more and get real shaky. I will usually feel wimpy after that all day.

Not diabetic as far as I know. First time I have had issues like this while out working even on hotter days.
Friday morning when this happened it was about an hour after breakfast and Sunday it was about an hour or so after lunch.

Dang forty, don't like reading that! As others have mentioned, listen to your body. Take it easier out there till the doc's get this sorted out. You take care now bud.
