Cool clay-shooting video

This video is a long commercial for the high-end Blaser F16 shotgun, but the videography is incredible – especially the super-slo-mo shots of targets getting crushed. For those thinking they might want to start shooting clays, this might give you a nudge in that direction.
It's 4 minutes long, but everytime I watch it, it seems like only about a minute has gone by and it's over.

Agreed, ditchparrot...it is a very cool video, and a quality production. Along with the crushing of the clays, it's also neat to see the wad create a secondary "explosion" on some of the clay shards. Almost a star wars battle sequence!

And the venue those two were shooting at was beautiful -- great outdoor scenes and colors.
Not only is the F16 high end, I noticed they were shooting Rottweil ammo. That's in a quite different class shotshell than the Herters 20-gauge I've been using. I'll use my s/g next December for deer hunting, and I know this manufacturer has some pretty specifically designed s/g slugs...might look into them.
Interesting also that you mentioned about wanting to start shooting clays. I've been thinking about that with the new 20-ga shotgun I recently bought. There's a shooting/training range in southern MO called the
Vanzant Clay Pigeon Farm. I've chatted/emailed with the owner and a couple of fellows who have gone to this shoot, which is held twice a year. Might look into that for this coming October. In the meantime, I'm just getting better "acquainted" with my new s/g -- really nice to shoot!!
Thanks for posting the video...it was fun to watch.

That was a treat, ditchparrot! The high speed camera, great photography, and slo-mo really worked well to showcase the rifle (Oops -- Shotgun). I loved it. Thanks.
