Suzuki Bandit

I had a Suzuki Bandit 400 to detail today. Went and picked it up with my truck. I thought I would be able to find some one to help unload it but no one was around. It started to get late so I detailed it while it was still on the back of my truck. Made for a not to pleasant way to do the job. This bike was bought new in 1992 by my brother and he is still the owner. He doesn't have time to do it his self because of his work schedule. This is a very rare model that was mostly sold in Europe and Australia and New Zealand. It is a inline 4 cylinder 400cc water cooled engine. It is quite a peppy motor for its size with a red line of over 14,000 RPM's. I had it one week end and went riding with a bunch of guys with cruisers with some pretty big motors. They kept joking about the little motor and I got tired of it and I asked which of the cruisers there was the fastest. They told me which one and then asked why. I told them I wanted to run the fastest first because that way I only needed to race one. I said the next straight we come to we will try your best cruiser against this "little bike." After the little Suzuki smoked the big motor cruiser that was the last I heard any thing about the little motored bike. Here is a few shots of it after I got it done. Not bad for 25 yrs. old

If you hadn't told it's age I wouldn't have guessed it ever. It looks great you do good work.

Wow, that looks fast just sitting still.

It looks ready to bust out of those straps any second. Congrats.

Beautiful detail job, Bandit. And that sharp-looking 25-year old cycle makes me wish I never sold my CB900!! Nuts that I did that.
