That's what I hear every evening on the news...and then I just want to stop by Home Depot for a gas cylinder exchange for my grill.
NOPE not today! The darn place was packed hardly a parking spot and of course the line waiting to enter store due to mandated limits!
Noticed that also at all the drive-in fast food places like Sonic couple evenings ago when we wanted a burger the place was jammed.
Some folks making more money than ever!
Tomorrow at 7 AM I try again for my gas cylinder exchange.

I hear ya forty. I think people just want to get out. Been cooped up too long. Hope you get that cylinder exchanged. And don't take it out back and shoot it now!

I was at our local Lowes around 1100 today. No line to get in and the place was pretty busy. Only people I saw wearing masks were the employee's. A few folks were wearing sidearms tho, which is fairly common around here.

Well when you think about it...it's the best of times. Cheap mortgage rates for those still working and making more than 50 grand a year.
Great times for those that WERE working making less than 1000 bucks a week...got a nice raise with time off! Cheap gas less than 1.60 a gallon.
Only thing is a steak, chicken dinner or a hot dog will cost a fortune soon!
Oh and did get that gas cylinder filled at a nearby U-Haul place for 5 bucks cheaper than the Home Depot exchange...no waiting!

Lots of folks filing unemployment calms here in TN. Saw on the news yesterday, that the Dept. was about out of money. Not surprising
considering the record amount of claims.
Walmart, Lowes, still wide open. The only line I've seen to get in ( 2 at a time ), Was Academy Sports. and of course, all the drive
thru places are backed up. A few sit down restaurants open here & there.
Glad I can cook.

That Home Depot and Lowes wait in line to get in is something I wont do. Good on ya going elsewhere to fill the cylinder Forty I do that to when I need them filled. But since I have a wood pellet grill now no worry about that overpriced cylinder exchange. Gas here 1.28 a gallon

Lots more traffic today as well, Alberta lifted some restrictions. Restaurants back at 50% dine-in May 14th. I hope this starts an economic boom in North America the likes of which we've never seen.

I'm with you there. I hate waiting in line & won't unless no choice. Had enough of that with Uncle Sam.
